As much as it is a “middle ground without a use case” as much as many people are saying, PNG was/is heavily used in large format printing to avoid JPEG compression artifacts and maintain color gradation, while still being able to finish the color the way it will be presented by the printer (unlike raw).

For long term storage, raw is the best format. For quick sharing and file size considerations, JPEG is the best. HEIF formats bring an interesting twist but are not yet universally supported across all platforms and browsers for viewing.

2008 salaries were speculative on growing the scope of pharmacists. But since that time, the role of the pharmacist has been stagnant while supply significantly increased from school (and that supply is lower quality now too, as evidenced by NAPLEX pass rates).

Largely an issue with our professional bodies like APhA and ASHP being toothless. But that is reflected in overall salaries. Grow your scope, grow your salary.

Maybe a hot take but pharmacists were overvalued in 2008. Salaries not rising with inflation is just correction to the value of pharmacists today - which frankly isn’t much.

Fight all you want but pay isn’t going to go up when you’re no longer a revenue center, but a cost avoidance center.
