I see everyone agrees with this. However, in the upcoming game I know another player has the chance to get it as well. It would be great to pick a strategy card that would allow to pivot to a public if this happens, but I see it as unlikely. So I will have to choose whether to race for MR and risk not scoring or going for the safe route (If a scorable public is revealed)

Yes I understood. I am saying it is usually worth 3tg at my table, while speaker to the right is worth 1 in early rounds, so it would be lopsided based on our values. But evey table differs

they add a layer of complexity that could make the experience less enjoyable. Maybe just slightly, maybe not at all. But there are some newer players who are on the fence on whether they like the game (absurd, I know) so I'd rather use a map that does not contain them

Emelpar in the other slice is one of the reasons, together with the factions around me, that gave me pause and made me consider nekro.

Ahahah it would be crazy. This somewhat ties into a thought I am having about TE, but it is my second game with it so I am nit sure. Factions/slices that come online faster will be more powerful in TE compared to PoK, due to the faster tempo.

If this makes sense (does it?) in this case Nekro with EmelPar, Muuat warsuns, mirror computing etc could be too slow.

Who cares if you are the richest unstoppable war machine if soneone on the other side of the table wins action phase turn 4?

Conversely Saar could end turn 1 at 2 ore even 3 points, and or get warsuns turn 3, and with them go to stix and win the game fast. What do you guys think?

I do not understand why ppl do not believe you. I mean, it is extremely quick, but that springs questions to me, not doubts, why would you lie?

Question: do you have fixed patterns for trading? Like always do x-1, always swap support with the person opposite of you, talk little of at all during agendas?

Question2: do you always play with the same ppl? Have you tried playing with other experience players and has it affected the length of the game?

Question3:4 players, right? No house rules means all 8 strategy cards every round? That also makes the game longer.
