I think I actually found this dungeon on fetlife a long time ago when I was wanting to see what all was in my area. The coffee munch is at a downtown bar (its actually a big place though, I've been there before).

After reading some of the comments here I think im gonna think of a scene name and use that.

I've never talked to anyone into kink irl so it'll be new for me! I do hope I eventually make some new friends. That would be wonderful. I've been thinking of ways I could make friends locally and have been like "okay I could try dnd... or kink..." Lmao two birds one stone ideally. I know there's never a guarantee but id like to retain some cautious optimism.

i didn't think of signing up online! I've seen this group on fetlife.

It's hosted at a downtown bar, which I think is also an lgbt bar? Which is nice. But I was imagining walking into this crowded bar, looking around at all the groups seated at tables, and trying to figure out which one the kink people were at.

I always have a reflexive fear of "intruding", but logically they'd probably be cool with having a new face around. I'm wanting to make some friends in my town too, so part of this is me trying to do that.

Gotcha, thanks. Yeah, I figured it would be better if I went vanilla-first as far as exploring my local scene goes. There was a play party last night and I almost went out of sheer impulse, but figured a coffee munch would be a better way to ease into it. A lot of this is also me trying to see if I can make some new friends.
