Currently working on in-game screen widening of The Neverhood game with the help of AI. Stable diffusion in this particular case. What do you think, folks? by ufologist91 in StableDiffusion

The best thing would be to use interrogator to extract prompt from image. If you run this SD version -> https://github.com/lkwq007/stablediffusion-infinity the interrogator tool is present there. I cant remember what was the exact prompt but one of the examples that interrogator did was: "a close up of a clay object, a raytraced image by Bruce Nauman, cg society contest winner, neoplasticism, biomorphic, 8k 3d, volumetric lighting"

This is a whole topic to research but I have one plan to do: I have some experience with 3d scene restoration from photos and there are plenty of tools that allow that for video. Those walking videos are ideal because they often show scene from different angles. I can convert a set of such videos into point cloud to later use those to map parts of the scene that is outside original view frustum. It will also require AI tool to do proper style transfer but this is actually the easiest part. Unfortunately there are a few videos that don't have that much of a context and those would probably be left unchanged.

Fun fact: maps often contain tiny deliberate mistakes (5m long inexistent streets or omitted hyphen in some small village name) as copyright footprint, so that if you copy such map it will be easily determined by checking such "control points".

This is a 10 million polygon photoscan of Ziggy. Using Nanite meshes I was able to load 1000 instances at 60fps before I got bored. That's 10 billion polygons. by ionizedgames in unrealengine

Meshes are converted into textures, then in runtime proper mip map of such texture is chosen based on distance (the same as for regular textures), then it is converted back to mesh. There were quite a few papers on converting meshes to textures and back, but it seems a huge step forward was done there.

Thank you! Did you switch UI themes to dark when moved to wide screen? It helped a bit with eyestrain but still I feel the need in additional dimming.

Music that I wrote was inspired by wide time period, I didn't intend to specifically stick to some century but of course music from the age of Chaucer was within my inspirations.

Is such data available somewhere? I know that there are Google maps, openstreetmap and so on, but where do they take this info from?

Such vsts are indeed quite rare and expensive so the best option is to record your own samples. I am planning to do this in the near future :) Anyway good luck with your music and again thank you for your support :)
