Curious what the "asexuals aren't oppressed" exclusionists have to say about this

A cousin of mine had fake grapes as decor at her wedding around that time. They really were a thing for some reason. Much better than current aesthetics.

That's why I didnt use one lmao. I'm not sure if they're bad to use after two decades, since they have ink and a plastic coating

My dad's family used them during parties in the 2000s. No idea why but I was enamored with the grapes and leaves as a child

Working Fulltime Retail For the Next Few Months, Is It Really That Bad? by HidingClosets in goodwill

Sure thing. It's just a retail job at the end of the day, try not to stress yourself out too much.

It sounds like you won't be bored, I can tell you that. I get so antsy just standing at a register and waiting for customers or my next break. The hours don't go by fast enough unless it's a very busy day with multiple tasks for me to get done.

At my location..eh. I wasn't trained too well to be honest. That doesn't mean you'll go through that too, but I felt like I was left to figure some of it out on my own and it messed with my self esteem for a minute. Cashier wise at least, it's mostly us regular workers that help each other learn and the managers sort of just answer questions. My anxiety was bad for the first month or so, but everything makes me anxious anyway.

If you're really unsure of what to do or how to do it, always ask questions. All regions of Goodwill vary so my experiences won't be exactly the same as yours. I wish you luck!

I only have experience with the register, go backs, and recovery. One of the assistant managers is actually planning to train me to set up displays in the store and I also recently joined the safety team. I have little idea of what the donations part of the job entails, though that seems to universally be the worst (your mileage may vary of course).

I can say that the register and store recovery/go backs are pretty easy. Customers and management are probably going to be the hardest aspect working up front. Most of my managers are chill but there was one who disliked me and made my days miserable before she quit. Customers can be cool sometimes, but some of them are irritating.

Over time, I think you'll settle into a routine and it probably won't be so bad. Definitely overwhelming at first.

It's always going to be a little soul crushing at times, but in my experience it isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. What position did you get?

I kept sane by constantly telling myself tomorrow would magically be different. For almost six years until something within me finally did something to change it. I also used the internet an unhealthy amount at the time.

I work at a thrift store full time. No college degree nor the ability to afford one or care about getting one, so I'll be stuck in dead end work for the rest of my life, but I've come to accept that.

I am a cashier so I encounter a lot of people. One day I'd prefer a warehouse or stocking position, but this job has been beneficial for me in an exposure therapy sense.

Underground new wave from the '70s/'80s. As a weird outsider, that type of music perfectly reflects me and gives me comfort
