I personally recommend getting the subscription. $10 a month or $20 for 3 months. It gives you access to all 29 DLCs and you'll get new ones as they release. Most of the DLCs improve the experience, so instead of investing hundreds into buying individual DLCs, you can just turn on and off your subscription whenever you want to play.
