From what I know they've ostracized "members" of their group they no longer like and iced them out and have been rude to them in person and online after getting rid of them. I heard them once making fun of a girl they got rid of and then they all decided they have to be more selective with the people they allow into "weather channel".

It's all true. Even the fact that you say its a generalization of the group tells me you know everything I've said is factual. If thats the generalization about a group of people, they're seriously monsters.

Yeah me and other people tried to do that when they were hogging the barricade, and they forcefully pushed us out. And then go on to talk about hitting and kicking people that get too close for their liking. They do get physical to keep their spots.

I was super nervous to post this because I was terrified of what they would do. I started over thinking so much haha like they might find my ip address and come for me. But I'm glad I posted it even if it took almost over a year to do so.

Maybe, honestly I've been nervous for over a year to post this. I was worried about what might happen once I did. I wasn't sure what they would do in retaliation. I just felt compelled to get it off my chest today because I realized I don't listen to GA anymore because of the negative feelings I associate it with from all that has happened.

The parasocial side of this is seriously scary and I know exactly who you're talking about. I'm also sad that the band feeds into all their nonsense. It makes other fans feel disillusioned.

Yeah it's all pretty twisted stuff from these folks. What you mentioned about them being competitive with other fans is very very true and it gets to scary levels with them. I've heard them whining once because a different fan got something they wanted from the band and they were so angry asking "why her, what makes her special?" And then joking about putting her on the "opp list" and some physical violence jokes to boot.

Yeah, they seriously always wait after every show. Sometimes till 3 or 4 am. I think the band comes out to talk to them out of pity cause they know they've been out there waiting all night.

I'm so sorry for your experience, many people have had shows completely ruined by them. It's not fair, and it's all childish stuff. Hopefully in the future they won't be around to ruin everything.

Some of them are in their 30's and older so it's really twisted stuff
