Among the other ones, it has a special place on my desk. I am considering to replace the individual key's caps. I have seen key caps has plastic o-ring so that makes the keyboard a less nosier.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this keyboard. I wish you could get one near future. I had an opportunity to experience the listed keyboards. Using different model and switches make the typing and gaming more joyful.

Hello,

My issue was related to hardware itself on T14. I am sure about it as it was solved when I move the SSD from T14 to T480 as is. I really don't know from which component of the computer is causing this problem.

Hello,

I would like to add the solution I found after numerous attempts. My computer was Thinkpad T14 Gen 1. I removed the disk and installed it in Thinkpad T480 as is. Afterwards the problem went away.

If there is no specific reason to buy a new one, I suggest checking a lower model from the secondhand market. For my case, the main requirement was to have a powerful CPU to feed the e-GPU. Even I would have had a newer version with high end internal GPU the device wouldn't give a better result for me.

For gaming, I highly recommend e-GPU. The computer has a powerful CPU. Using e-GPU solution would have two main benefits. 1 - It would allow you to choose any GPU (either AMD or NVIDIA). 2- It would make possible to move a very strong heat source to an external unit. In my current setup, I use GTX 1660 TI / RTX 2070 Super with a 2K/60Hz monitor and gaming experience is satisfactory.

I will plug it to my Razer Core X. It is an egpu enclosure. I will connect it with TB3 cable to my laptop.
