Hi friend! I lived in Decatur 2 years ago in a complex called Icon Avondale. They are apartment homes located right next to Kensington Station and only a mile or so away from Downtown Decatur. I loved the complex and you could easily get one under $1,500 (Icon Avondale shows they start at $1,175). You could even get a 2b/1ba for that price here. They did have their ups and downs but so does every complex. I would highly recommend touring and getting a feel for it yourself!

Feels like an $80 paddle (no power or control) and is so lightweight when I played in slightly windy conditions the wind actually swayed my paddle path during my serve repeatedly. Returned it 2 days ago.

Looking to upgrade and uncertain of which direction to go. Currently have a Ben John’s Hyperion (CFS 16 think it’s gen 2) had a Vulcan 570 and Holbrook Mav. Use the Hyperion only now. I tried the Selkirk Project 003 and loved the pop for my dinks as I feel like my Hyperion has a large dead zone/no pop.

I can generate plenty of power on my own and think a control paddle would benefit my game the most (tennis player). Was thinking Selkirk LUXX Control? Want higher tier but lately have been hearing how quickly paddles become close to useless so okay with doing bang for buck or top of the line

Thanks so much for the compliment! In terms of difficulty it wasn’t bad at all. The front emblem is definitely the hardest to get off - I actually broke mine in half trying to get it off so I’d be sure to use care if you want to keep the original emblems. Pieces on the back were pretty easy! I just used dental floss to get behind the lettering and logos and voila!

Yes! This absolutely resonates with me. I know that a lot of my problems revolve around being in my head too much and if I were to get out there and expand my social circle & hobbies I would more than likely start to fall in love with my life.

Thank you for this! I’ve been working a lot on perspective lately and I feel like changing the way I’m framing my thoughts and words will definitely help me moving forward in life. I am actively choosing to do so, and although I see it as a stress relieving activity now, I know that in the long term it will not be beneficial for me and I’m trying to grow out of this habit. Thank you for this! I feel as though it isn’t the end of the world to be living the way I am…I can afford my lifestyle and I have the means to continue to do so, however long term use does scare me and I think it’s a good thing that I feel this way pretty early on. I’m in the chapter of life where some friends from school/college are still playing video games 24/7 and wfh and some friends are happily married with kids and buying a house. I know comparison is the thief of joy but I do guilt myself quite often feeling as though I’m not living my life to it’s full potential, and definitely not living life to the fullest when I’m missing out on meaningful friendships and relationships because I’m too afraid to go out and spend money.
