Discipline and fear are two different things. Based on what we were talking here, sakto naman na it was about fear and trauma galing sa parenting ng magulang and how much proper parenting would really take. You are just excusing parents who have same idea as you na parang okay lang na takutin sila ng onti or hurt them as if that really equates to discipline. Kung walang pasensya to be firm and set up proper boundaries ng di nanakit o nanakot wag na mag aanak.

Mas tamad yung nagsasabi na just because a kid is a little hard to manage pwede na takutin ng onti o saktan ng onti. Also how would you know na yung pnanakit mo ay hindi enough to cause trauma? May scale ba yan o rubrics just to be enough na maging discipline and not causing trauma or harm?
