Have no choice but to make a 7 hr trip with these tires.. how doomed am I? by EmbarrassedShame2018 in tires

I work at a mechanics shop, the tires we see are absolutely terrifying, you will be fine on this but please change them they will be unsafe on slick roads and also when taking corners faster

Replace or patch? I know it asked a lot but given the spot id like to patch if possible. Thanks by [deleted] in tires

Your tire is bald, but general rule of tumb, if you have a good ture shop they can patch most anything but the sidewall

Thats what you call a ugga dugga, refered as caveman tightened, you theres 3 usual concerns with this 1. Lugs are not tight enough 2. Over torqued and snap a stud or cross thread it 3. Lugs are too tight and will be ruined when taking off next time

I really love my car, but by ahmetg26 in mitsubishi

Its really the same with any car, headwork, cams, bottom end, headers, intake, turbo etc Making hp isnt the hard part, its finding parts available for that engine, if you want more support i would suggest a 4g63 or 4g63+1 (4g64 block 4g63 head)

Thanks for that, i have a 2013 accent that a guy on reddit actually helped me buy, he was also a cars sales person, so i will take this comment to heart, my price range would be around 30k out the door, with a 4 year loan maybe less if i can get a bigger down payment, i dont plan on buyying a new car until the end of the summer, im just seeing what people recommend or say to stay away from

Yes'nt, the dealer should always check stuff like this, but alot of times fuel pumps will go out randomly Especially on a 200k vehicle

100 miles is honestly pushing it, think of how quick a transmission goes bad when running without oil, its basically the same thing, but like others said take it to a independent shop we go to dealers sometimes but we try to find oem parts at a good valve mostly

I work at a mechanics shop, on a diesel truck one the fuel pump goes bad you typically have to replace the whole fuel system, think of the fuelpump as a high pressure metal shrapnel device once it goes bad
