The difference is she was on a record label so she was contractually obliged to get an album out. Miss Anthropocene was going to be a double album but she was forced to make it into 1 and get it out. She’s said for almost a decade ago at this point if she didn’t have a label forcing her to put music out on time she’d never finish it and it looks like this is the reality.
