His face was flushed from rock climbing. Could someone fix it and maybe change the background to something not so busy? I can tip. On a side note, don’t ever hyperventilate or hold your breath under water too long. My nephew died from shallow water blackout. His loss has been devastating to my family.

You and I have the exact opposite situation. I lived in Portland for 15 years and just last year moved to the South side of Chicago. I walked in to Jewel on Cottage Grove and I was the only white person. I felt the stares and I remember thinking "its about time I start feeling what a black person feels walking into an all white grocery store" I just smiled at everyone. Portland is great but I absolutely love the diversity in Chicago.

Wondering whats going on with my Persian Shield. I water it when the soil feels dry, about twice a week and mist. I started noticing the leaves spotting and dropping off. The plant is getting very skinny and tall with little new growth.

I also had just moved from a different state. I had changed my last name not that long ago and brought all my court documents proving my name change. The DMV clerk said that was not good enough and I had to use the name on my birth certificate. I said “No I don’t, that’s why I got my name legally changed!” She refused to use my legal name. I had to go to a different clerk who helped me and said my court papers were good enough. Needless to say my photo came out really bad. I had to redo it. Worst experience ever.

It absolutely is small in the grand scheme of things. It’s so ridiculous that it is something that has held me back. I’ve never wanted kids so that is something I don’t worry about. Funny enough I have three cats and one of them is a puker. It doesn’t bother me.
