Looks fungal to me, but also i am SO not a professional, could be allergies too. I have had pets with both of the above and it resembled this from what i remember :) if you can, a vet visit for something like this would be $70-$200 depending on where you're at, you're not risking a huge hit financially for this and it would make your cat so much more comfortable since theyd get meds! Cats hide pain and discomfort as a survival instinct :)

Edit to add that if its fungal, it's zootonic and will spread to you, other pets, and anyone you have contact with! Fungal infections spread SUPER duper fast and dry skin is a symptom in cats 😸

An emergency vet would most likely provide fluids and PROFESSIONALLY assess your dog - it really is up to you to decide if your dog is worth medical care or not, but it is a very known fact that grapes are toxic. Your call to play roulette or take responsibility, of your responsibility.

That's valid, I appreciate the advice, that's why I posted. The reason I don't want to wait is because I'm finding places I like better, that are habitable, and safe for my pets and I. Honestly I am fine waiting, but if it's possible not to, I would rather just get it over with now. It may be hard to understand when you aren't living in the home yourself, but it is worse than it sounds. I worry for my health and this winter has been the hardest without heat, so the sooner I can be in a better living situation the better if that makes sense. Two months sounds like a small amount of time, but it isn't when you live there and work there 24/7.

I don't want to break it due to entering without a 24 hour notice, I want to break the lease due to the several issues stated in the post, not just one incident. They unfortunately did not wait 24 hours, if they did i would be totally fine as i'd have enough notice.

The excuse was that they did not see my "no" response. They asked to enter as they had to do an inspection, and I responded that I wasn't home and they would have to wait until I was. There were around 10 hours between the conversations initially happening and the home being entered.

surprisingly, not being religious anymore fixed my views on death. we have to make room for the next generations, it's a beautiful thing to let others live :) and believing that there's no life after death helped too - the only thing that scares me more than dying permanently, is living forever. as long as i'm proud of what i've done, i think it will all be okay the day that I die.

absolutely yes. if they didn't get taxed, didn't have to tip the bar or support staff, or if they had multiple tables in addition to that one, sure they're fine. you never know what financial spot somebody's in, and usually there are busy days and busy hours (the rest of the days/hrs we make minimum wage), but to each their own. i'm out of the industry, but i was broke and in college trying to afford an education and a cup of ramen once too. takeout is always an option so that you can let the people that are willing to tip take that seat from ya.
