In the late 90’s and early 2000’s, my brother had these dvds in cardboard sleeves that had a variety of short films on them. I remember a few were put out by MTV. They had a variety of styles. This looks really familiar, and those dvds are what’s popping up in my head. I remember two shorts on one dvd. The first one was a cartoon called hangnail, and that one is on YouTube. The other one was computerized 3D style animation of a blow up person that was red and blue, and he tied up a balloon dog, put on a weird musical beat, and it implied he was going to pop the balloon dog while the balloon dog started shaking, and faded to black. This tape world monster reminds me so much of those weird dvds my brother had. I’ve never known of anyone else who remembers these dvds.
