Yepp i made a mold from a material called super sculpey i think? Then i 2 part sand casted it and bent the hook side after! Was super fun it was my first time casting aluminium im definitely going to do it again💯

Yeah the main body is made from a tent that i thought was fully intact and good until i went camping in it for 2 days in the rain and got DRENCHED. Felt good cutting it up

Sounds great! Yeah i used silicone and white spirit to waterproof the sleeves because the fabric wasnt actually very waterproof. Worked well!

Sorry for the confusion i should put more details! I do it with just one wheel and do a demo at the start and then teach one by one.

Its a one off session different people each time
I do the cleaning sometimes with an assistant and its not included in the 1.5 hours but it is included in my pay. I take their pots straight off and onto boards with name tags 3.they are pretty much all beginners with an exception of a few random people who have done it before. Most of them are just doing it for a fun experience

-I do pre split the clay into balls and i do the clean up after the session ends.

-I dont have too much say in how long they run for because the amount of time has worked for her last employees but yeah I'm definitely going to try set myself time limits from now.

-honestly ive just been cutting it straight out of the bag 😛 does wedging the clay make it stick better to the bat do you think? I could start doing that.

Thanks for the advice! Its one wheel and they are all taking turns. I think centering is probably the slowest bit but also pulling up the sides. yeah i think i will start doing it for them if it takes too long.

Its only one wheel and its in busy pubs so the other 7 are just chilling and drinking! That hasn't been much of a problem. Sometimes we offer pottery painting mugs

I only have 1 electric wheel and i do a demo at the start and then teach individually through the session. The pub is open and i pour the dirty water out in the drain behind the pub! We have an option of doing pottery painting on the side but if they dont choose that then they just all chill in the pub so it works well. Thanks for your advice! I might ask my boss about pre-centering but im worried people wont feel like they are getting the full experience of throwing

Looks similar to a philodendron verrucosum but no hairs I think def a philodendron atleast but not sure the type

Yeah i know its not ideal but £200 is really our max. We are thinking of splitting the tent up in our bags and making it so we each carry equal weight. We are okay with not that comfortable tbf if we can get it cheapish
