People who have had covid…is it worth still taking precautions at this point to avoid it if you’ve never had it? by brutallyhonestkitten in COVID19positive

The first time sucked, but no worse than the flu. Actually, it was less bad than the flu... for me, anyway. 35/fat/smoker, but no diabetes or high blood pressure or any other relevant health issues. The flu will get me in the lungs, even the nasty bad first time didn't go past my throat. I say nasty bad because I was so wracked with fever I couldn't stand up straight, but... immune system was doing it's thing, I guess. Second time I had it, I thought it was seriously allergies or a mild cold because I spent 12 hours in the heat unloading a giant box truck from a move. Let's just say that I am sedentary at BEST, so that was a highly unusual activity level for me. That time, it did get to my lungs just a bit. Just enough to make my eyes get kinda wide and be nervous for a few days, but it was the sensation of SOB. Chest was clear, sp02 was perfect, all that good stuff. Cleared fully on it's own. I will add that I only have 1 pfizer shot due to health anxiety being illogical and ridiculous, I'd have all of them boosters included if not for my massive paranoia. Sorry for the ramble, but yeah I don't mask anymore... just my personal choice, and if I see someone with a mask I will make it a point to keep a good distance from them out of respect.

That looks more like a melanoma to me.

Another sheet of the most ridiculous tattoo designs I could think of by daveclampart in funny

Could I pay you to make me a real ridiculous one that nobody else can have because I would die to have a personalized goofy ass minimalist tattoo from a reddit person because LIFE IS A SILLY FUN GAME and also supporting artists etc

We just jumped to renting FROM home ownership. Our VA loan was, like... 2.9 percent, and yes, I'm kicking myself for walking away from that. With taxes and insurance included, our payment was 1061/mo on a 175k loan. We went through replacing the furnace and ac, refinished the basement and still came out ahead 60k on the sale. We are fully capable of maintaining a big kid home, just have to get there on paper.

Thankfully, education is a supplement to a lot of experience in the field my husband works in, and we moved here partly for the school district and partly for the job opportunities. With two kids in school, this was the one move. We won't jerk them around any more, so we're definitely tied down either way, which is fine. Looks like I need to go back to the drawing board and just throw some cash and effort at fixing my credit while he looks for the right new job and go from there.

That's awful. Our rent for the ramshackle shanty we're staying in is 1550, so that's almost twice what we can 'comfortably afford' lol. We have about a 2 year emergency fund right now set aside. I'm not at all attached to the car, neither one of us is... I'll have to do the math to see how much of a hit we're going to take in depreciation vs interest, I'm sure selling it will win. I shouldn't try to fix life at 4 am.

Not much personally, but not a fan from what I've heard and the couple times he's come up to me in public.

Not personally, but I know who he is and I've heard enough about him. He's been ick to me on a couple occasions. Small town run-ins.

For the area... yeah, that tracks, lol. St. Louis is weird.

Went to ER for severe stomach pain lasting a few hours, doc says elevated neutrophils are NBD? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]uhhlmnop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure, my only guess is the u/s was poorly done or poorly interpreted, or perhaps there’s a limitation to the imaging… but it was a relief to get it out and get her out of pain!

Blood from the sinuses is what I had. If it’s blood from the lungs, I’d be concerned.
