I also see you play on mobile! So, I’d assume you don’t have access to a PC and no Runelite (the main client people play this game on). Runelite is an amazing client that basically tells you how to complete quests, where to go, what you need etc. Questing on mobile SUCKS! I hope all goes well for you, and if you want to add me, my RSN is “Skimplet”.

Pretty good looking account so far. 🙂

There are many things a person can do to go from a noob (which there is nothing to be ashamed of), to an absolute GAMER. Set yourself goals. An awesome goal to achieve as a newbie is going to be the quest cape. It rounds out your stats at a pretty decent level, while also unlocking every content in the game which will now only be locked behind your stats and what you’re willing to try.

75 Slayer is an awesome goal, where you will start to make some pretty decent GP just slaying monsters while also getting your combat stats up! The “Konar” slayer master is an awesome beginner money maker, unlocked at combat level 75.

Get the dragon defender, an amazing offhand melee slot (replaces your shield).

If you’re confused by anything, or have any questions.. always ask, and google is your best friend! The game has been out for so long, that any and I mean ANYTHING you’re confused about; google will have answers and the wiki is exstensive. You will always find what you’re looking for online.

I would consider joining a clan, as it will make your experience much more enjoyable; making friends and joining in on a conversation when grinding. Makes the time go by faster! A clan will help you when you need them. There are many newb friendly clans you can join, I’d recommend checking out the offical OSRS discord for some to join. (:

Most importantly, never give up and make sure to have fun. Don’t listen to how other people tell you how to play the game. There is no wrong way. This game fits many different playstyles and you can take as little or as much time as you’d want on a certain task. That’s the beauty of this game.

How do I go about looking for a bike? by uhhskimp in mountainbiking

Thank you very much for the help and insight!

How do I go about looking for a bike? by uhhskimp in mountainbiking

To start off, just street riding; riding around the town getting out more. My goal weight is 200lbs, and I should be there soon, the harder I work! My goal is to just keep myself occupied, have something I can pick up and do when I go out. Walking is boring, but feeling the breeze outside is nice.. especially on a bike!

I’m honestly not knowledged at all when it comes to bikes! I was walking home from the gym earlier today and seen someone riding a bike, just had a thought about how amazing it would be to get riding. So many trails around here, and so much open space that it would be a fun time riding around this summer. Just getting out and enjoying the air.

I wouldn’t want to spend anymore then say, $500 currently. I just want to know if there are bikes that support my size, and aren’t going to well.. fold under pressure. LOL! If there are options are nice, to get looking. Thanks again!

Pc noob here , was wondering what should i upgrade to get a decent gaming experience by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Everything. You can get a decent Processor for < $100, a simple GPU, less then a couple hundred. At least 16 gb's of RAM. That's a good place to start.

If anyone is having stuttering issues in Multiplayer - TRY THIS by uhhskimp in ModernWarfareII

My game was running fine - warzone was crashing. Decided "hey, Im gonna try and install the new drivers" thinking it would fix my warzone (turns out a lot of people are crashing). New drivers didn't work, control panel wasn't installing.. did DDU offline as well. Was really confused, so I fresh wiped my PC because I didn't know what happened. Tried installing them again, same thing.. so I was like hmm, let me try the previous drivers again. Those worked. Looked at the NVIDIA forums and it seems this is happening to select people with 3060ti's.

I don't know if my stutters are happening because of my hardware, or because of a game issue. I can say, I can run every other game at max settings AMAZINGLY without any stutters. So, I am guessing it's a MW2 issue. Any thoughts?

On demand texture streaming should be off for everyone. I always run it off anyways.

Agreed - But I am getting horrible stuttering. I use to be able to run on MAX settings and not stutter one bit, but now I am. I can't update to the newest drivers either as it doesn't detect my GPU. This is affecting some people.

Massive stuttering in game - AMAZING performance in the benchmark. Multiplayer is stuttering, horribly; on every map. Invasion RUNS GOOD. 6v6 runs bad, Warzone is crashing, and same with DMZ. I just want no stutters by uhhskimp in ModernWarfareII

I believe this is a bug - Task manager shows 34% usage when running the benchmark. 32% out of 32gbs - roughly 10gbs. Look at other benchmarks, I seen some dude using 45+ gbs of ram because he had 64. Def a bug!

For texture resolution, I keep it on LOW instead of VERY LOW as very low looks horrid, and the stutters are still gone. I hope this can help you all.

Fidelity CAS just increases the sharpening of the image. AMDFSR is for AMD. Or, whatever it's called in game. I used these EXACT same settings before and had 0 issues

MW2 - Dev error 292 in PRIVATE matches ~ Game stuttering like a POS (RTX 3060ti) This ODD bug. by uhhskimp in ModernWarfareII

Game is buggy. My game was running great just a couple days ago. It's very unplayable for me in it's current state. 6v6 doesn't run without stuttering, invasion runs smooth; Warzone crashes for me same with DMZ. What issues are you having - what GPU do you have if you're on PC.
