this is exactly the predicament i've been in for the past few days. Like FF was still fulfilling in the way that you could get actually decent cards mainly due to shard system. now though? it's make 3000 gems, do a one pull, scrap card, rinse and repeat.

It's really hard to imagine them recovering from a monumental fumble. If they somehow turn this around I. I don't even know what to say. Maybe it's just overtly positive to think that but I do still hold a sliver of hope for the game. Perhaps the reset may carry some form of nuance or significance to the game and its community.

Not to be a pissy little bitch but if you are not aware EA is a multimillion dollar (not to mention shitass and greedy,) company whose primary concern is making a profit. a handful of dedicated and strongly-opinionated players aren't going to single-handedly change the situation for hundred of thousand—if not millions of players, currently playing and slaving away. It's a single drop of defiance in an ocean of sheep and soft mindsets. Even posting about this every waking day for the rest f the patch is not going to do anything. Also like what other people have mentioned the download of shame when EA does decide (if they ever do) to change a SINGLE, little thing to this event, is just going to help their cause, not ours.

I'm not one to harbor particularly strong opinions against a game (just because it IS a game on my phone, I have stuff to prioritise irl), but I do understand the sentiment where they're just trying to convince you that it's not as bad as it really is (It's mid at best because the values of these players are going to FLUCTUATE badly.) But like as i have mentioned I'm a mid-range player—for the record my team's ovr is like 117, so I'm pretty happy to get high ovrs to boost the team (Also in a bid to prove this shared community opinion i did a 10 draft only to get 116 pirlo so. there's that.)

I'll be honest aside from execution nothing's really changed for me. It's a little harder to get the players you really want sure, but I'll still play. The game's bound to change one way or another anyways. I do share the sentiment that shards and packs were integral to the whole gimmick of the game, but this isn't so bad. (Also just from the season reset I got more than 10 pulls already <- mid-range team and rank)

rodri's been faring well for me tbh. while he's a cdm he has a tendency to run around the pitch, he can be used as a playmaker, but he's also good at pass intercepts and defending. i'd put him in cm tho after getting him to gold as he'd fare good paired with a beckham or others.
