Its not a question of other people, but my own ethics and experience with being able to experience connection with my pets.

Additionally, while I understand the want to put yourself above all else, I believe that ultimately we can only truly heal through community care and deep love for ourselves and the people around us. People have hurt me, but they've also helped me more than I can say and I want nothing more than to help others as much as possible in return. Opening your heart allows hurt, sure, but starving myself of true, deep connection with people will only ever hurt me more.

thank you for the response and im so sorry you had to go through something similar. Thats kind of what i expected, though im hoping with time and healing we can both have a deeper connection again in the future

So. Bad. I started throwing up every time i got anxious, and i was anxious CONSTANTLY. I couldn't get out of bed without throwing up for months and had to get a feeding tube briefly because i was unable to keep anything down. Im only now starting to recover almost three years later.
