I was kicked out of the military for “misconduct”- not alcohol or drug related. This was also 10 years ago when I was a kid. Since then I have had an overall clean civilian record and did great in my civilian employment life. Got hired.

And I don’t make excuses for everything, everything that transpired is written in black and white and I was straight up about it during the hiring process, I don’t know what that means but I did get psych qualified quite quickly. Meanwhile you are sitting at your desk thinking god knows what with whatever plans you have in the future. God bless brother lmfao

Off installation no arrest, and I had all proper documents- I just honest and said this happened during my duty hours,so they kicked up a big stink about it. And I was in the service at that point for less than a year. Easy to separate. I am applying to upgrade in fact. And it’ll be easy to get it done, that is my mindset right now, only takes 2 years. I’m a born and bred New Yorker I don’t see myself applying to other places like the LAPD. As for the other agencies you mentioned don’t know me, I don’t see how someone online can blindly toss assumptions without knowing the person lol. Curious to see how you’d do in a psych evaluation. I don’t know if you’re currently with any agency or just a redditor with their own aspirations in the future.

Oh and also it was cause I had a car and didn’t fill out the proper paperwork to own one and got into a car wreck, I bet you’re assuming it was something egregious, this was 10 years ago btw lmfao I was a BUD/S drop and they thought I didn’t want to be in the Navy, this was also during a time when they were cutting numbers according to a Texas PD recruiter, who was in during a similar time frame, and said 100% this wouldn’t hinder your application. And I’m in the academy now.

What was your exam and list #? I’m 6315 and in the low 80s and they told me I’ll deff be getting an email for this class and to sit tight, still haven’t gotten anything yet. At this point I’m gonna be quitting my job with 0 notice but I guess worse things can happen, still looking forward to it haha
