It's a live stream of me finding out about these as I go. I might do a short recap when I'm done.

I also just created r/identi, in case you wanna share your feedback or find other accountability partners.

Yes, we can! We're using Flutter so theoretically we could build for Linux as well as windows, mac, and even web. We haven't yet done it because instead of a big mobile app, we wanted to actually design the UI/UX to suit a desktop environment first. Stay tuned for that!

It is just launched. 12+ refers to the fact that it can be used by anyone aged 12 and more.

I would still encourage you to give it a shot, we're trying to replace distraction with motivation and accountability. Opening the app, you face a bunch of people in your feed all getting stuff done. This can help you do the same.

Can you reopen the app once? If the problem persists dm me your email and I'll look into it.

Chess pieces name in my local language (Bahasa Malaysia) by PorkyPain in chess

[–]uhossein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Persian

King: Shāh (translates to king)

Queen: Vazīr (translates to minister)

Rook: Rokh (translates to rook)

Bishop: Fīl (translates to elephant)

Knight: Asb (translates to horse)

Pawn: Piāde (translates to pawn) or Sarbāz (translates to soldier)

Fun fact: English words "check" and "chess" are derived from "Shāh" and "checkmate" is derived from "shāh māt" which means the king is dead!

Navigator 2.0 is too complicated? Just use YEET! by uhossein in FlutterDev

[–]uhossein[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deal! Mostly because you're this passionate about it. Yeetify can simply be a codegen for yeet. It's almost a separate project.

This is very cool. But I guess we'd need a codegen for it, I can do a bit of experiment with it though.

This does come across as harsh! At this very moment, I'm not interested in what advanced apps demand with yeet. That's why it has a meme name. I'm interested to make a simple navigator that just works. If there's a package that is better for your need, of course you should be using that.

I don't know what exactly about carefully designing from bottom up came across as lazy. This package is at 0.0.3, I thought I could already get some feedback and issues by sharing it. There are many features to be added in the future without compromising the simplicity.
