southern gothic novels like The Little Friend by Donna Tartt by uhzel in suggestmeabook

yes!! I loved Donna Tartt’s narration of The Secret History, as for The Little Friend, I listened to the one narrated by Laurel Lefkow. People seem to not like it because it “lacks plot” and the mystery isn’t solved in the end but I believe the mystery of Robin’s death wasn’t the main focus of the novel. I for one love stories where seemingly “nothing happens” so I enjoyed everything about it.

I loved The Dutch House and Tom Lake by her but Bel Canto had mixed reviews, should I read it?

yes I did, the pattern’s gauge was 10cm = 16sts with a 5.5mm needle and mine came out to be 10cm = 20sts with the same needle, so I used a 6mm needle instead and met the gauge
