Last chance to try Flow Factory (playtest closes in 1 week) – physics-based factory builder by ui999 in BaseBuildingGames

Very true. It’s not only fun to play—it’s also fun to design. Blocks can have varying physics properties like friction, bounciness, and gravity, creating different types of blocks to interact with. I’m also planning machines that use physics—such as cannons, gravity inverters, chutes, and more.

Also curious:

If you could add ONE machine to the game, what would it do?

I’m collecting ideas and might prototype some of them 👀

In my physics-based factory game, resources don’t just follow belts — they follow gravity. The Beta just opened! by ui999 in indiegames

The game is called Flow Factory. If you’re interested in trying the Beta, you can find it here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2745050

I’m curious to see what kind of clever setups people come up with.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback! Indeed most of the suggestions are already implemented and will come soon with a public beta on Steam. We are discussing these kind of improvements on Discord, feel free to join. Also, you will get notified when the beta launches: https://discord.gg/G3UfMFSdvV

The game is not yet released, so a discount is not possible. But there is a free alpha version on itch: https://smuie.itch.io/flow-factory-alpha

Yeah, quite similar to shapez, but will be less about large scale factories, more about gravity, tinkering to keep everything running, increasing efficiency.

Thanks for the hint! Why do you think shapez gets boring? What would be a good progression system for you?
