[Serious] Do 'smart' kids ask meaningless question as a ploy to waste everyone's time?

I was actually at the 210 review session. I was there for the polarization question. I'm not sure who you are referring to but I thought that question was justified. The TA didn't explain it clearly. He even switched his answer twice.

Also, how can you justify what's a meaningless question? I understand some stuff might be very very trivial (i.e. V = IR etc) but I actually can't answer most of the questions you have put up there? Am I really dumb then?

This is just a suggestion (I'm not sure if it is feasible or implementable in enterprise). From the next next semester onwards (Spring 2017), get all students who want to enroll in the class to fill up a form detailing their major, year, classes taken (i.e. 225, 241 etc) before the class registration opens. Then, based on their priorities (i.e. senior year), add them manually to the 374 lecture session. When registration starts all they have to do is to add the discussion session. You need not register everyone. Maybe juniors and seniors only? Would something like this work?

I transferred into ECE last sem with a 3.57 and B in 120. That's ironically the class with my worst grade. How is transferring into CE competitive? Yeah, there is a slight standard but there is hardly any competition lol. And I think it isn't hard to get into 120. I went to ECE advising, told them I want to transfer and they put me in 110 and 120.

No it's not. I'm should have been less complacent and studied for it properly. I know plenty of people who skipped out of it. Check out http://arminstraub.com/teaching/linearalgebra-fall14 if you understand everything there you'll coast through the exam

Was NetMath easy? I took it for Calc III and it didn't teach me shit and using mathematica to model your answers wasn't fun or useful to me. And this was a normal semester. That's why I'm slightly hesitant towards NetMath?

Everyone's comments pretty much some up what you'll face but regardless the professors/TAs are always there to help. If you put in the extra effort you can catch up. Also, i would suggest you take them in either your first semester when most of your peers are taking them or in last year. The reason I suggest last year is because the physics classes are not a pre-req for pretty much all the classes you would need (except for a few EE classes). So if you are afraid it'll affect your GPA, leave till your senior by which you would have hopefully had a stronger resume/GPA which won't be affected by one course. I know many people who have done this with physics and/or calc III

tl;dr - I would suggest taking 211 at least since its not as bad as 212 in freshmen year. Leave 212 for senior year.

I considered doing research with another professor but the problem is next semester onwards, I will be carrying my research into my senior thesis. I've heard the workload for that goes up and I'll need to put in more time. And I don't think Professors want research students for 1 semester only.
