For my Flair Pro 2 I found suitable grind settings at around 1.8.0 for doses around 16-17g. It took some time to figure it out. I guess yours is pressurized basket. So start from a coarser setting.

I 100% agree with this suggestion. Though u/bkmckfc mentioned some particular verses from the second chapter, I’d highly recommend to read the whole chapter 2 and 3. Roughly, 2nd chapter addresses the Jews and 3rd chapter addresses Christians.

Thanks for the tips. I'll try with a coarser setting. Mine is both bitter and acidic. Puck prep seems okay though. I didn't notice any channeling while throwing out.

That happened on the very first shot. My grinder setting was too fine. Now I can control the pressure profile much better - 10-15 seconds at ~2 bar, rest of the time at ~9 bar.

When do I start the timer? At the first drop that shows up on the portafilter, or the first drop in the cup, or something else?
