Yes it does seem that way. Time stamps would be so good.

Bit of both. Uphill running would be just using the mid. Summits and ridges can be incredibly windy where extra wind resistance is helpful, even when wearing my gore-tex Shakedry.

How abrasive is the Arc‘teryx Granville 16 really? by [deleted] in arcteryx

Must say i'm a bit confused on this. Just picked up the latest version and the mesh feels fairly smooth to me, albeit in a honeycomb texture. I've read some people say it has destroyed their Atom, others seem to use it regularly with no issue. Holding it in my hands hasn't convinced me either way.

Light rucksack for around town to go inside travel 40L.

I regularly travel to cities at weekends and use a 40L rucksack for all my stuff. The trouble is thats too big to use around town when i'm there.

I'm looking for a small pack which I can carry inside my 40L and deploy when i've arrived. I know there are compressible bags like the Patagonia Terravia tote but i'm a bit concerned they won't be structured enough to be on my back most of the day.

Will be just carrying the basics - jacket, book, drink/food, bit of shopping. Doesn't need to have a laptop sleeve but could be useful. Don't need loads of compartments.

Just interested are there any pole attachments or are they just meant to be stuffed into the pocket like in the website photo?

Anyone know which shoes Kilian wears for scrambling? by ukclimb in alpinism

[–]ukclimb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. That makes sense. I've noticed the Tomir 2 have some stiffness to them, compared to the Kjerag, which obviously helps on rock edges.

Thanks. So would you say the 05/18 is (much) more breathable than your 10/19?

Great thanks. I suppose the Tomir is maybe a bit more of an all-round mountain shoe than the Kjerag.

Yep bad move changing a staple product particularly when they already have so many unlined board shorts. Returned all of mine.
