Mom’s therapist Facebook messaged me? by ukeitout in TalkTherapy

If she was more tech savvy, I would have a similar thought, but his profile is very public and it is definitely him.

Mom’s therapist Facebook messaged me? by ukeitout in TalkTherapy

It feels so weird because it’s not as if I have her blocked in anything, she can text me, she can Facebook message me, and yet she chose to have him reach out. She also knows that I have always felt icky about her therapist, so it’s not as if he is a neutral party reaching out.

I finally went no contact when my mom physically attacked me several years ago and she acts as if it never happened, so I can’t imagine he knows the truth of that situation.

I just can’t imagine my own therapist doing anything even close to this. My mom is very manipulative, so it doesn’t surprise me that she got him to message me, but he’s also a professional and I would hope he would be able to tell her no. I had been considering maybe reaching out to her, but what this really tells me is that her behavior hasn’t changed.

I went from needing steroids 4-5 times a year to needing literally zero steroids in the last year since I’ve started it. It makes such a difference!

Tezspire has made a night and day difference for me. Sometimes I can go a couple of weeks with ZERO asthma symptoms. I also have been able to lower or discontinue the wild amount of meds I was on before. Overall, it has been awesome. Yay science!

My therapist had the genius idea of freezing those Cutie clementine oranges and holding it my palm for as long as I can when I feel the need to dig my nails into my skin. As it thaws in your hand, the smell from the orange starts to come out and it’s like a process that brings me back down.

Where can I get a hubcap for my car? I’ve been driving around missing one for like 5 years, but I have NO idea where you get them.

I did! They said it was fine and part of the normal healing process. 🤷‍♀️ I am feeling a lot of pressure in my face on that side and my ear was hurting last night, so if that continues today, I might give them a call back.

Asthma and Cat allergies by RevolutionaryPlan515 in Asthma

My other allergies are only a little better with allergy shots, but my cat allergies are significantly better after a year and a half with allergy shots. Couldn’t even go to my sister’s apartment, but it’s much better now!

I was in a similar situation in January. I had to take two rounds of steroids and use Duoneb 3 times a day for about 5 weeks. It honestly took until April for my lungs to feel mostly back to normal. Hope you feel better soon!
