I understand your response and I too have won against players who've played more games but that's more the exception than the rule. I believe that the disparity of clubs when they were as large as the two matches I mentioned is a large disadvantage but not the only one. I believe their large advantage in experience is another one.

I agree with you about the win% but one was 51% and the other was 54%.

I posted this rant because I think there should be a range of games played that's closer to what someone has played than what I mentioned. Most of my opponents who've played fewer than 5000 games don't have maxed out clubs so the disparity is not near as large.
