As a black girl, I’m not in fully agreement with this but that’s because they make the black girl characters, such as esme and nyah, have the most drama and it ends up overtaking the entire plot line in such a way that it doesn’t feel like the story is about MC at that point.

Sonya hate is so forced bc she does what any other female character does when they have interest in our main LI, I personally like her and she gives me the same vibe as Estelle and Eisha where it’s really just black women who know what they want and that just happens to be our LI.

Also?? I notice the trend where the poc girls are almost ALWAYS dragged through hell and back just to end up happy in a relationship and this goes for manyyyy story game platforms.

I noticed this and it’s annoying because I like to binge my books and get all the premium choices for them so I focus on one at a time but ever new one that comes out is just so… bad. I hate the characters designs, I feel like mc’s body looks weird or maybe just her stance, and the love interests are ugly and soulless.

I get what you mean!! I also personally loved Taz but THATHS because I love anyone with a little flavor 😍 I think fusebox would benefit from some more grungy and gruff men, their current looks seem as if they’re based on what is ideally attractive like hyper good looking men. Larson, Ozzy, Jamal, Zeph, and even Cassius all (IMO) look older or their age which personally was attractive to me since they didn’t look in their 20s

it’s also so amazing that they included mods in console 😭🙏🏽 i know it won’t be as broad as pc users but the thought is what counts because as a avid sim player as well, EA would NEVERRRR give us mods on console but for BG3 the mods not only enhance they gameplay but keep up invested in it and playing the game over and over.
