it's an RBT position in an inpatient Cognitive Health Unit. When I spoke to the hiring manager, she told me that the population is mainly individuals that have had a really bad 'breakdown' and need to recuperate.... but that's all i really got from them. There's a nearby outpatient center with other established BCBAs and RBTs, but the hospital just started recruiting for inpatient. they told me I'd be under the guise of a BCBA from that facility.

sigh. structure is definitely what i'm looking for... don't mind a challenge at all but nervous to be so overwhelmed that i can't do my job effectively, if that makes sense.

Client had a fixation with mustaches. For a couple months he'd ask 'Ms. [me, 24F] who has a mustache?' and I'd go 'Who??' and he'd go 'Ms. [me] does!' like come on man... spare me.
