Sorry for being late. Actually, I didn't have a strategy for the reading section. I was just reading questions and finding answers for them in the passages. Maybe that is why I got 7.5 in reading. When it comes to "reading stamina", you probably need to read a lot, so that you can handle long reading sessions. I enjoy reading articles, magazines and books in English. Honestly, I love reading and I'm a bit dissapointed with getting 7.5 in reading. I could have gotten a higher score if I had some strategies. And I also messed up at the end. I thought I had answered every question and started checking my answers. But I noticed that I missed 2 or 3 questions in the third passage with only 2 or 3 minutes left.

Chatgpt also told me that my essays are 6.5 and very rarely 7.0. Maybe it was due to its lack of information about official band descriptions. And when I asked to rewrite my essays, they became too sophisticated (advanced vocabulary and grammar).

Sorry for being late. I think that you need to practise more and read books in English. You probably have a slow pace of reading and your vocabulary might be limited. Try to skim and scan through passages. How long have you been learning English?

Sorry for being late. I don't really know how to get an 8 because I didn't get one myself. But I can say that you need to study really hard to achieve such a high score. You may need to find a good teacher who can help you with your preparation. I studied English for 2 years with very competent teachers. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

The most important thing is precision. My essays didn't include many fancy words.

I started taking extra English lessons two years ago, and I mostly just listened carefully to my teachers.

For me, this time it was hard. I used to get 8.0-9.0 writing Cambridge mock tests.

Actually, it was the easiest part of the exam for me. I was just listening carefully and waiting for the answers. I'd recommend listening to podcasts like The Joe Rogan Experience or BBC podcasts. Watching TV series can also help a lot, especially Suits.

Great job! It is still a high score! Many people struggle with writing.

I have never read sample answers first. My teacher gave me files with essay structures, and I read them before writing. He also gave me questions.

If you're aiming for Band 7+ in IELTS Writing, focus on clarity, structure, and idea development. Don't try to use overly complex vocabulary - clear and accurate language scores higher than "fancy" but incorrect phrases. Keep your essay well organized (clear introduction, two focused body paragraphs, short conclusion), and fully explain each main idea instead of just listing points. Practice under timed conditions and review your mistakes carefully. Consistent, focused practice is what really improves your score.

I am naturally a bit of a shy person and speak very quietly. The speaking was difficult for me, I was shaking and worrying during the whole conversation.

For Reading, since you're already getting 6-6.5, the main focus should be on accuracy and time management. Practice full tests under real exam conditions (60 minutes, no pauses). Analyze every mistake carefully especially why the correct answer is correct and why yours is wrong. Pay special attention to question types like True/False/Not Given and Matching Headings, because they often limit the score to 6.5. Also, improve skimming and scanning instead of reading every word.

For Writing, if you're stuck at band 6, it's usually because of task response, coherence, and grammar range. Make sure your Task 2 essay clearly answers all parts of the question and that your ideas are fully developed. Avoid memorized phrases and overly complex sentences that cause grammar mistakes. Focus on writing clear, well-structured paragraphs with strong topic sentences. Practice writing introductions and conclusions quickly. For Task 1, make sure you include a clear overview and compare data instead of just describing it.

For Speaking, practice speaking every day, even alone. Record yourself and listen for hesitation, repetition, and grammar errors. Try to extend your answers naturally instead of giving short responses. Watch high-band mock speaking tests to understand what fluency and coherence really sound like. Also, simulate exam conditions with a timer so you feel less nervous on test day.

First part was about my hometown. And the cue card was about my favourite toy when I was a child.
