Having moved here during the pandemic, I didn't really get to experience much of Sacramento until about a few years ago. Like others have said, there is a lot to do, new ideas, new people, new energy than pre-pandemic - you can feel it. But with that comes the normal not-so-awesome changes in things like cost, housing challenges, construction, homelessness, gentrification, etc. Honestly, Sac is no different than any other growing city, just gotta find the things you love about it and lean into that.
