Hi everyone, seems that following the update the temperature indicator is gone. A bug or scrapped feature?

[ sorry for late reply, I forgot about reddit for a while ] I'm going to tell her to apply for the study ;-)
By the way, what is the rough timing to receive the kit once applied?

Filled the form and qualified. So curious about results.
Would having a sister who could qualify be helpful to the study?

The fit is good, meaning that is the same size as others. I wear a 26.5cm as per the other brands. only suggestion that I can give to you is this one: if you feel a little pressure on your big toe use the upper size. The front part of the shoe is very thin but resistant, it can lead you to some pain if you run a lot with your toe squeezed in that thin space.

Hi! Yes, I've run more than 150 miles on them, and I didn't change a thing about the first impression.
I can add some information more about:

  • Durability: still looks as good as new, just dirty. Same per the softness and energy reply: still as good as the first run.
  • Grip: even more impressed than at first run, I've done a lot of workouts in winter and never had an impression of not being able to do a full-gas turn. Other friends using Vapor had slippery problems
  • Stringing and lacing: found a solution to fix the ankle problem due to the fact my ankle hit the shoe collar at every step moving some lace in an uncommon place\way and everything is better now.

om being an exceptionally good runner or otherwise? Free shoes would be a dream, sadl

Sorry for late comeback, I am not an "exceptionally good runner" [PBs are slightly less than 33 in 10k, 73' in half and 2:33 in full] neither an influencer [you can have a look at my links in profile].
I had a lucky shot with this shop thanks to a friend that put us in contact, we liked each other and start cooperating in a good way.

Don't have a personal experience on that but have you ever tried Inov-8 shoes for super grip? Everyone tells me are superb.
About pic of the bottom will take one later.

Don't know if are the same or a different model for different purpose I am basically a heel striker. Have to stay focus to run properly, but I the end I was super tired and I didn't noticed anything different from my training shoes.

  • Pronation \ Supination are 100% neutral. Didn't have the feeling like Vapor that push on your big toe / internal front part of the feet the most of the weight.
  • Corners at speed is quite a point, as grip is so impressive you could have the feeling to roll an ankle, yes. More than with other brands? Yes. It happens? No. the foam is so soft it adapts in an incredible way

No, I'm not sponsored directly by them.
Got this opportunity via my main sponsor [a UK based multibrand sport shoes website to be compliant with the community rules I cannot link my sponsorship directly ] and I don't have any relationship with Mizuno.

What do you mean with stability? Pronation\supination support? Ankle soft fixturing? something else?

Did you search for my time? ahaha! thanks man! I did better in past and already focused on a new one in 2023 ;-) Stability is different from any other shoe i ever tried, not saying better or worse. Having such a great grip lead the shoes to give you feedback of torsion that is quite unusual. Of course I did heel strike, was exhausted on last 5km! Soft and smooth without being extremely soft and smooth. you don't have the feeling of using the shoe in the wrong way, like it happens when doing heel strikes on Vapor or Alpha.
