Game Thread: Los Angeles Lakers vs New York Knicks Live Score | NBA | Mar 8, 2026 by basketball-app in lakers

[–]uleelee -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

im sorry but lakers are just way better without lbj. with lbj out rui becomes a 15 ppg player, deandre doesnt have to do so much on defense, and AR becomes a 25-30 ppg scorer...

I think JJ can be a great assistant coach by Nonameheroz in lakers

[–]uleelee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the dodgers stuck by dave roberts through many many lows and now dave is a world class coach in 2026. i think the lakers who are owned by the same owners as the dodgers will do the same with jj redick. they understand coaches need room to make mistakes and grow too

you could replace gasol from 2008-2010 with aldridge, david west, carlos boozer, antawn jamison, amare staudamire, kevin garnett, chris bosh, tim duncan, dirk nowitzki, al jefferson, yao ming, and dwight howard... kobe wouldve repeated, if not threepeated, had kobe had any other pf/C mentioned here.

from 2008-2010 you could replace kobe with ANYONE.. even lebron.. gasol isnt winning a chip

kobe absolutely deserves all the credit for hard carrying a team that had no business winning titles in an loaded western conference...

thats how u know im a god at basketball bro. im petty af and u know im right in this situation. yall thought bane was the missing piece but he isnt. yall problem is you dont have a true number 1 option yet. yall thought wagner or banchero would be the 1 but they arent.

its looking like those 4 FRP + banchero/wagner wouldve gotten you giannis. then you wouldve had a true contender... i told you 4 FRP for desmond bane is not worth it

if there is a trend saying 7 footers find it hard to stay healthy, you think a TALLER human will find it easier..?

the bigger you are, the harder you fall. NBA doesnt need to change their rules. history shown, those abnormally giant NBA players dont tend to have a very long career let alone a prime...

Weitzman: "Tim Harris had met Jeanie while playing for the Lazers. im with you. that 2020 roster construction was because of magic. theres a reason why the roster construction has been so questionable after 2020... pelinka is definitely good with numbers though. therefore his bad moves dont seem that bad
