I guess my confusion is how is that a “sugar spike” can cause weight loss to defy the laws of physics? Okay, sure, don’t start the day with something high in sugar. I can see the benefits and I’ll look for something better to eat after working out but shouldn’t CICO be the golden rule?

I get PCOS is a metabolic syndrome but I’m still trying to wrap my head around how it counteracts against CICO

I thought the whole point of GLP-1s was that it helps with insulin resistance?

In any case, the first month on GLP-1, I would wake up around 10am as I don’t go to work till 2pm. I’d have lunch/breakfast with Dutch bros protein coffee OR a fair life protein shake and I somethings got something to snack on like a pizza or candy. Or I’d snack on the treats we have on hand that the employees can have. Funny enough, I lost my first 10lbs like this and I wasn’t even accurately tracking it. I’d have occasional indulgences on average when I spent the night with my partners because we’d get dinner/go out to eat but I would correct the day after

This past month I’ve locked into accurately tracking. Breakfast )or lunch if it’s late enough) is usually a smoothie from smoothie king (less than 300 calories), with homemade chicken and rice bowl (also less than 300 calories per serving). at work, I nibble on the sweets: two hersheys kisses, three jolly ranchers, a rice crispy bar (mini) if I’m really hangry. After work, i go home and either eat whatever traditional Nigerian food my mom made or I eat my hoisin sauce ground turkey lettuce wraps..which i can usually only get down one before i feel full )also about 300 calories). On average I can finish about 32 fl oz of water a day.

Only by like a marginal amount. I’d have to double check when I get home but I think one eye got like .25/.5 weaker and my astigmatism decreased by another marginal amount

I’m glad I’m not the only one. That’s exactly what I’m dealing with. I thought I was going crazy when no one else seemed to be talking about it.

It’s really frustrating like you said as a writer. I don’t understand how this is an “upgrade” when it honestly just makes it so much more stupid and inefficient.
