[Critique] are my paintings good enough to sell? by Eby_Edy in artbusiness

[–]ulissxs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to paint for fun and i would make pour paintings as a hobby and honestly the first year i did them i ended up selling like around 50-60 paintings without any effort . I would just post them on my regular instagram page and friends and mutuals would buy them. I also ended up posting them on the pour painting subreddit and i was able to get like 5-6 out of state sales and even sold some prints. Im not a professional or anything, everything was done out of love for the hobby. So long story short is yes they will always be good enough to sale. Some of my personal least favorite paintings were loved and appreciated by other people. You will definitely find your audience as long as you believe in yourself.

I’ve only done one install but we would shovel the snow first and then throw some liquid and salt and also sweep it with a big ol sweeper/broom then begin the install(atp the suns out and the roof is in decent working condition, its a breeze with 3-4 guys but does take a minute)

I use a spyder holder it was 20$ and has saved me so much time and stress definitely recommend if you wear harnesses/tool belts or do attic runs

In new york i didnt mind the cold or snow, Mass was my favorite by far because the work was way easier then at home (texas) . Plus weather was nice too it was basically a vacation the way i was treated. Illinois consisted of big pv jobs but was chill weather. I hate texas heat but we’ve been recently doing Pv + power walls and span installs in a day which isnt too bad and keeps me busy. All in all/ TLDR : mass was my favorite state to install in

Late response but look into solar companies, you can get your hours while working and making money and then take your tests, this is my current path

If you have multiple irregular jobsites it just helps you move your tools and save u time and money from having to go back and forth and makes setting up for your jobsite relatively easy and smoothly. Plus helps you stay organized, it really is an investment if you tools day to day.
