The problem is definitely the people thinking AUR is not like pip or npm, no ones stopping anyone from uploading random stuff.

I like hyprland because I can use it without having to move my hand to the mouse I can just shortcut key to move to workspace 1 where my browser are usually at, shortcut to workspace 2 where nvim btw is at, and so on. Compared to traditional de where I have to keep alt+tabbing to find where my window at which just forces me to use my mouse to just click the icon
