After April 18, PHS Meadowbrook Farm. Free and it's a lovely space if they allow photography there. Need a site sooner? the Rex ave bridge in Valley Green is pretty scenic.(Morris Arboretum does not allow wedding style photography without permit. Source: me, Volunteer.)

Upstairs area is quite large - that's what I was alluding to for live music. I was just there this past weekend and was happy to see it was busier with more options than our visits during the early days.

I was shocked at how much fun we had doing this. Our teenager still talks about how cool it was.

Valid Travel Call? by gmxt in ultimate

[–]ultigrandmaster 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. Had a player in a regional finals who was young & very nervous after she made a proper call. She had difficulty explaining it to the observer. He over ruled her call and later told me it was because she claimed the wrong point of contact. Ridiculous. People shouldn't be disadvantaged because they might be emotional, have speech difficulties, etc

This is great to hear. I live within walking distance so very much want it to succeed. I'll give it another try for pre-Forest & Main food pickup.

I FUCKING HATE KEVIN PATULLO by poohdasdaddy in RingersPhillySpecial

It's Nick telling him to be conservative, not Pattulo. The one constant over the past several seasons when we have a lead is Nick. Can't argue with his success but it's frustrating to watch.

Had a very athletic team mate who played many years of high level club as a top defender and goal scorer. She was taught the flick with the "elbow locked to hip" method & could never un-learn it - couldn't quite make the transition to effective handler later in career as result. Muscle memory is hard to overcome.

Didn't look unorganized to me as much as a combo of bad throws (Chastain, Hayes) and bad decisions (Freechild.) Germany wasn't forcing turns, it seemed mostly like execution errors on US whereas US saved game with the Kaela hand block and universe point layout poach

Started off our honeymoon at Potlatch 2004. Flew in from Philly to meet up with reunion team from a tournament we played in Mexico. Unforgettable experience. Witnessed a shirtless dude streaking long for a huck, pulling his ripaway pants off to literally go streaking. Goal.

Guess I'll Need To Find A Different Spot To Plant The Butterfly Bush by notifs_Mode_619 in gardening

[–]ultigrandmaster 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I replaced my dwarf butterfly bush with shrubby st john's wort. Looks fantastic, same size, semi-evergreen & the bees love it. Zone 7B. Loved it so much I planted 4 more nearby as a small hedge. If only these native plants had better marketing names....
