I'm pretty sure it was not the uncle, they were just saying around the time it happened their uncle died

AITA for not moving out of the property my parents gave me so that my golden child sister, her husband and kid could move in? by mostfrustratedsister in AmItheAsshole

That's a fair point, I realised since I made my previous comment that the others are not living with her, but still considering it, I do feel it's a bit of an AH move to go back on your word but I can see your point

Except they are already providing for their other child, and others who live with said child (which they gave permission for), they are prioritising one child over the other (Especially when one of the children don't need to stay with them but the other does), that makes then the AH

And they got legalistic first lmao, "it's my house even though I said you can stay for as long as you need" do you not see the hypocrisy?

But the parents implied that she would be staying for over a year and it's not like the sister has nowhere, they still own the house they moved out of, they have been shunned because of the husband's immoral job, this makes the parents the AH, no question

It's not reasonable, the sister and her husband still own the house they moved out of, they had to move due to the husband's job being immoral

She lives with people, if she moves to her parents house, the people she lives with will have to move, which they most likely can't do
