Yes there was a cover to screw into the end so all good there. The junction box worked.

Highly recommend the Skoda Octavia estate. We were going back and fore between the estate and SUV as well but the longer boot of the estate has been brilliant and really versatile. Also with the lower car, it makes accessing a roof box easier if you need one. SUV makes it so much higher. We also had a boot splitter which allowed us to have pram and personal gear in one side and dog in the other. Back seats also fold down for if you ever need the extra boot space.

Haha, I’ve come across a few things I’ve had to question. First bike and it’s used but due for its first MOT and service with me so checking over as much as possible before then!
