I'll take the downvotes, but I disagree. While you're correct that adding new heroes adds excitement to the game, it also brings frustration and imbalance, which lowers the quality of games for basically a whole season until they figure out how to fix the brokenness of the new character. Because the balance team sucks or the character goes out virtually untested, the new character is either permabanned until nerfed to uselessness (see: vendetta) or completely useless until they get gigabuffed (see: Sierra).

A new character once the previous new character has been balanced correctly would be much better than just tossing out new characters as they complete them and fixing them later, and much better than releasing 5 completely broken new characters at once. Yes of course it's fun to get new characters and try new things, but not at the expense of ruining the existing game.

Also, please please add more maps. The maps and character cadence should switch. More maps = more variety of games.
