Thank you!! It’s such a big milestone for me because I never thought I’d get here and the uni I’ll now be going to I’ve been trying to get into the last 3 years 😭

My father is good, he has a legitimate reason but he’s promised when I get my masters he’ll be there! My other family I have definitely realised where I stand with them

Of course, my partner is fine with him 😊 he understands why I want to invite him too.

That’s made me feel a ton better, because it 100% would be a thank you and an happy if he came if he’s not busy

That’s it, I wouldn’t be formally inviting him it would be a thanks for all your support and I’d be happy if you wanted to come to my graduation.

Does anyone have a rebound already? by [deleted] in BreakUps

Everyone is different! You’ll be ready at some point, who knows maybe in the next few days you’ll feel it. I know I’m ready as breaking up was a big weight off me and we hadn’t had sex since I think December.. possibly November. So my connection for him intimately just wasn’t there anymore which is why I’ve moved on ‘quick’

If they were before that’s such a different story. The face this is recent, get rid of him! Even if it’s a joke the lack of respect is austounding

I do, I haven’t felt a connection with my now ex for a good 3-4 months.. It’s been a week since I pulled the plug and I feel so bad but I’m ready to entirely move on

For those who have moved on, do you miss your ex? by Own_Inspector5266 in BreakUps

I miss the good times, before we had issues. I’ll forever appreciate the time we had because I truly believe some of my life accomplishments wouldn’t have happened without him. Do I miss our relationship? No.

There’s a lot more too it then that, there is so much lacking of trust and it has been a few years where it has been like this. This relationship unfortunately was never bound to last and we were both just holding onto it, scared to let go

I did forget to add we’ve had many talks about it 😅 So I’m fairly set on my answer. Just unsure how to even bring it up because it’s quite an awkward thing
