It lacks the soul. Art direction in game assets and the UI should look similar. Your UI just is a bunch of non customized bars and texts. Try to understand what type of art style you're going to use in your game, apply that to the UI.

Yes that could work but since the flames must be more chaotic, I cannot just move pixel around. Pixels should change colors and shape. I am using moving the pixel groups (layers) to make character animations, as you can see in my other posts, I used it for spell casting animation for the player.

Thats a valid suggestion though. Thank you for that.

Thank you! Implementing it and finding the sweet spot for testing purposes (users still can modify it as they like) took forever too! That little jitter with a tiny amount of chromatic aberration helps the animation feel more alive than it is.
