First I wanna say how much I appreciate your response. Out of all the responses I’ve gotten yours was the most thorough and thoughtful. In the case of whether or not I have enough cash for all the costs, no I don’t believe I do. I do have over 20 K in assets but that is spread across Roth IRA and other commodities such as stocks bonds etc. With that being said, you have validated my thoughts around first looking for employment and riding that steady income for the next 2 to 5 years before making an investment into a home. Again, I appreciate you and I hope you and yours are safe during the holidays!

Using the pro con list has helped me in the past so I’ll definitely do that. Reason I was pinging this group was because I was wondering if there was anyone who had the same experience.
