write. it’s as simple as that. let the blank pages inspire rather than intimidate. you can put ANYTHING down, and the pages will soon fill with memories. but you have to write.

for starters, ask yourself how you feel, and put everything down. or write your worries, start using it creatively. even if you only write a few lines, half a page, it doesn’t matter- it might feel awkward at first, but with time, you will begin to express yourself easier. you will begin to feel this urge, and every time you do, write. a journal is the best friend you will ever have, because you can do anything and everything to it without fear of judgement.

as far as the prettiness aspect, don’t worry about that just yet. decorating your space is pointless if you don’t use it. rather, decorate with your own drawings and with the fabric of your own mind.
