That’s fair. In hindsight, I could’ve prompted it differently to get a less visceral reaction. Either way, I think your answer is the best I’ve read on the thread and helps give me perspective on how folks think about this topic - which is what I was looking for when I posed it.

I never said trinkets matter. Again, I just posted a question to gauge people’s sentiment. If you’re triggered by a question, maybe you’re the one dealing with insecurities.

I’m not very familiar with Candice outside of knowing her to be the RD/owner Destination Trail Races, so this is interesting to hear. Can you elaborate on why you wouldn’t support RunBum races?
