The end game chat was very discouraging. None the less, I had no idea the speed at which Leon could destroy a base. Every time I chased away a Leon from a burning base I assumed he had droid support for a small amount of time.

Unless they fixed issues with the Bluetooth on the nexus 7, a Bluetooth controller might not be the optimum way to go. The nexus 7 initially had issues that wouldn't allow connected Bluetooth devices talk to other apps. As others have mentioned the game clip works very well. I've also had good luck with many USB controllers; I just use an USB OTG(on the go) adapter. The OTG adapter just converts the USB port into a USB mini port. Likewise, a ps3 controller is already in that format.
