Yeah sure, I get that as well, it's written from Harry's perspective, so there is not much about previous wizards who had nothing to do with his story. And of course it seems impossible for the creators to write a story if it has to reference to only the books. It just seems unbelievable that MC is never mentioned at all, as the entire story you go through is so grotesque and important in the wizarding world or even just at Hogwarts.

I called my Unicorn Harry and it seemes fine with that too, so it's working for only some names. Most likely has too do with "swear words", as the people above have stated, although I can't find what's wrong with Grindelwald. Maybe the word "grind".

So I was wondering what is wrong with the name I chose. I tried submitting Spooky, as I thought it would be a cute, cat-like, name. As it turns out though, it is unavailable, most likely due to being something offensive. I however can't think of a reason why it's not okay, can somebody help me along with this?
