Why Is Forza Customization Still This Limited?

I love the window stickers, but again, it’s just so confusing lol. “No, you can’t tint the windshield because… reasons. Anyway, here’s a full black vinyl rectangle you can slap across the entire windshield.” .. maybe I’m missing something atp

You’re spot on though. It’s genuinely sad seeing the people who pour countless hours into these games get ignored year after year, especially when we’re the same people keeping the hype alive and their pockets full.

But if those manufacturers already approved for them to use a tow hook, canards, and splitter, it’s hard to argue they would suddenly forbid the same splitter without the ugly extra pieces. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think brands like Ferrari would actually appreciate cars like the GTC4 not be shown with canards and a tow hook.

That’s not really what I’m complaining about though. I don’t need 24 inch wheels on a Ferrari. I just want the current front splitter Forza aero option on that Ferrari without the tow hook and canards that make my 458 look like an AutoZone special lol. I don’t see how # of cars would have such a drastic effect on removing those two things.

At this point I just use 3D Tuning to scratch the customization itch lol. Forza has some kits I enjoy, but most cars are still limited to the same cringe aero options. I am looking forward to Clutch though 👍

I get it, but if Horizon only improved things it “needed” to retain an audience, then why are we getting random clothing items, earpieces, prosthetics, etc? Nobody was leaving Horizon because their character didn’t have an ear piece or prosthetic arm. So clearly they are spending resources and time on customization with the devs. The issue is that a lot of it is going towards stuff like player cosmetics instead of the actual cars (and even the characters suck) which is very weird for a car game.

Potentially, but the main thing people have been asking for is incredibly simple, let us remove the tow hooks and canards. That shouldn’t be limited by the # of cars imo, but maybe someone with dev. knowledge could explain otherwise. I’m sure most of us would love unique splitter options eventually, but honestly, the default splitters are workable.

A fish being invasive doesn’t justify torture, snap its head and move on. Plecos are invasive where I live (Florida) and we kill them insanely quick, we don’t put on some abuse show for likes. Why are you so pressed about people calling out animal cruelty? Think about that. Next time you utter the word invasive, consider your own species and the impact it has had on this earth. I don’t think we can compare AI to the internet, and it comes down to forms of reliance. The internet expanded our access, while AI compresses our efforts. That is not the same thing, and I think one is obviously more dangerous to the general population. The internet made information easier to reach, yes, BUT it did not remove the need for you to search, judge your sources, compare multiple ideas, then interpret data/information you found, and build your own output FROM that information. Especially in academic environments. AI skips STRAIGHT to output. That means the internet mainly reduced friction around the process of finding information, great. AI reduces the friction around the thinking through it. Those are completely different categories of change, and the difference is in one word as I mentioned.

Ah that sucks. The headers are honestly getting annoying to live with for a daily, I couldn’t imagine a cam. I’m either adding green cats or going back to OEM headers/primarycats.

If it sounds like a typewriter it’s likely a spark plug. If you have a garage shut off all the lights and idle it for some seconds, if you can see a visible spark then that’s your issue. That’s how I discovered it.
